Earlier this week, Karl Lagerfeld's newest designs for Chanel took on the runway at the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show of 2016. In addition to the outstanding designs that stayed true to the Chanel vision, celebrity models Gigi Hadid (left), Kendall Jenner (center), and Bella Hadid (right) wore several of the most stunning pieces.
Central pieces to the show included modernized Chanel dress suits in a variety of colors and styles. A primary accessory to the new designs were belts with an elegant purse attached. This accessory can be seen in the pieces worn by both the Hadid sisters. Kendall Jenner, however, modeled a black dress, whose simplicity can be traced back to past designs from the brand. Although not a "little" black dress, the piece certainly makes a statement.
As a designer, Coco Chanel was a strong women who asserted herself in a demanding and critical business. The inclusion of celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid certainly carry out her name as strong, beautiful women.
