Balmain Fall/Winter 2016 with Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jordan Dunn, & Karlie Kloss

On March 3, 2016 Balmain released his Fall/Winter 2016 line at Paris Fashion Week. Models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jordan Dunn, and Karlie Kloss walked the runway alongside each other to showcase the new line.

Olivier Roustieng's new line is nothing short of breathtaking. The line included light pastel blue and pink pieces mixed with other black and gold ensembles. Although the line is questionable for fall/winter wherein darker colors are usually expected, the line is still striking. The inclusion of over the knee, thigh high suede boots with geometric pieces and gold accent belts was a surprising touch that brought the line together.

While also setting trends with his new line, Balmain was also taking trend forecasts into consideration with his use of stripes and also thigh high boots (although the height used was a signature touch).

Despite past years of criticism, Justin Bieber has re-emerged with a new image. Whether it be through his music or fashion, Bieber has presented himself with a more mature sound and fashion sense.

In the March 2016 Issue of GQ, Bieber showcases his new style with pieces from Calvin Klein, Dior Homme, Burberry, and Gucci to name a few. This new style is classic, yet current; a mix that has been influencing many and is becoming an increasingly popular trend for young men through the usage of leather, suits jackets, ties, vibrant patterns, sneakers, bursts of colors, and tattoos.

Steven Klein Photographs Lady Gaga & Daphne Guinness For Alexander McQueen & Isabella Blow Tribute

Earlier this year (January 2016), V Magazine released an issue that paid tribute to fashion icons Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow through a photo shoot featuring singer, Lady Gaga and artist/photographer/musician, Daphne Guinness. Steven Klein photographed the tribute in a way that truly captured and showcased the McQueen pieces from the Isabella Blow archives.

Isabella Blow was a fashion magazine editor who discovered Alexander McQueen and was close friends with the Guinness family. However, both McQueen and Blow committed suicide in early 2000's after which Daphne Guinness bought Blow's archives, including the early McQueen collections. This photo shoot, in particular, represents the first time Guinness will wear pieces from the collection, allowing her to reconnect with her deceased friends.

Who better to wear the collection than people connected to the designer? Guinness and Gaga pose in attention grabbing shoots that truly capture the essence of McQueen's designs. Gaga states, "What's sacred about today is that it's Daphne and I, two women who loved McQueen very much, and Steven Klein, a man who loved him very much. And it's a man and a woman who also loved Issie. And another man, McQueen, who loved Issie. And a young girl who never got to meet her but admires and loves her very much. This is about true talents and helping them to be remembered the way they should be."
